About the Project

The goal for Yaamava' Resort & Casino's website revamp was to enhance their digital footprint, paralleling their extensive physical rebranding. The primary focus was to elevate online bookings while showcasing the resort's luxurious amenities and gaming experiences.

The website project started as an RFP. Our agency won the project due to a comprehensive RFP response coupled with my spec work.

Challenges

A significant challenge was designing a dynamic website capable of displaying constantly updating information about promotions, events, and jackpot numbers, tailored to a diverse and fast-paced casino audience.

Role and Approach

I took the lead in designing the key pages, establishing a foundational design direction that would guide the rest of the project. After crafting these crucial elements, I supervised an offshore team to continue the development, ensuring consistency and quality across the entire site.

Design Strategy

The design incorporated elegant weave backgrounds that subtly integrated the resort's logo, creating a luxurious texture. Image sliders were used extensively to showcase the resort's facilities, emphasizing visual appeal. A clear navigation system and strategic placement of promotions were key to maximizing booking conversions. Additionally, we employed hover-to-reveal user patterns and content sliders to make extensive information accessible and engaging.

Outcomes

Following the launch, Yaamava' Resort & Casino saw a significant increase in resort and casino bookings. The successful website was pivotal in securing our role as their primary marketing vendor, demonstrating our capability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
