About the Project
HomeSmart, a key player in real estate, sought to enhance its agent recruitment process through a dedicated landing page. The goal was to attract new and experienced agents, as well as franchise seekers, by providing targeted information and a direct line to career specialists.
Challenges
The project presented unique design challenges: crafting an appealing color palette from black, red, and white, and organizing a substantial amount of content in an easily navigable format.
Role and Approach
My role encompassed collaborating with the content strategy, SEO, and development teams. I focused on a dark theme to align with HomeSmart's branding, carefully using red highlights to draw attention to key elements and conversion points. The content strategy was amplified with bold headlines, clear font hierarchies, and compelling imagery, all aimed at optimizing conversion rates.
Design Strategy
To address readability and navigation concerns, the layout featured multi-step forms, content tabs, and anchor links. The design process included creating wireframes, clickable prototypes, and a comprehensive development hand-off, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to execution. My strategic use of color played a crucial role in the design’s effectiveness. The selective application of red not only adhered to brand guidelines but also enhanced user engagement and guided them towards key actions.
Outcome
The landing page stood as a pivotal tool for HomeSmart's recruitment team. It effectively segmented content for diverse agent groups and streamlined the process of connecting agents with career specialists.
